Bing Crosby sang the song “White Christmas”. I too am dreaming of a white Christmas.
White symbolizes purity. A virgin bride wears white to honor her chastity; the Lord gives white robes to all His subjects, white becomes the color of purity. What day should be a purer day than Christmas? WE SHOULD STRIVE FOR PURITY EVERY DAY, BUT HOW MUCH MORE ON Christmas, the celebrated day of Chris’s birth?
Even the tabernacle in the wilderness was surrounded by white linen; the Lord was teaching Israel that white is the symbol of purity.
