Our Lord Jesus Christ

“Lord” is Jesus’ deified name; seen as God.
“Jesus” is His earthly name; seen as man.
“Christ” is His prophetic name; seen as the Messiah
--the Promised One.

The complete title describes what Christ really is:

The Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God.
The “Son of man.”

God (Jehovah);
Jesus (the Son);
Christ (The Messiah).

Jesus is His name,
Christ is His title;
“Lord” entails both of these.
